FREE GRANT PROGRAMS
Weatherization Grants
Weatherization adds years of life to buildings in Alaska’s harsh arctic climate. Weatherization also brings the benefit of energy conservation, saving homeowners on their previous heating bills.
Housing Accessibility Improvements
HAIP grants fund accessibility improvements to existing homes to mitigate daily functional limitations.
Senior Accessibility Modification
This program provides grants for modifications to improve accessibility for seniors (55 years of age or older) currently in need of such modifications.
Home Repair
The Home Repair program provides loans to very low income homeowners to repair, improve or modernize their homes or homeowners to remove health and safety hazards.

Rickman Building Company Inc. is certified by the EPA as a lead renovator. With this certification, we can conduct lead test evaluations and work activities that may disturb paint surfaces in homes, apartments, and various child- occupied facilities built before 1978.
